Thank you for a great stay. Beautiful place with private parking, so don't hesitate to come here by car. The employees are all very attentive and amicable.

the place was magnificent and gorgeous and the stuff where helpful, the location was beautiful in the middle of the city. location: the hotel was adjacent to amazing gardens and surrounds, and the restaurant. popped in the crabtree for shots before sleep, it was around 10-15 minutes walk from the venue.

The luxurious decor was excellent, but the tiny room left much to be desired.

The grounds were amazing, enhancing the overall atmosphere. Breakfast served in a hamper included delectable chocolate croissants and plenty of food for both breakfast and lunch. While the house is magnificent, the room felt a bit dated, which detracted from the otherwise fine stay.

We had a truly magical night enjoying a music and food event in the gorgeous gardens, and the peaceful vibe after visiting hours was just the cherry on top. The lovely walking paths and cozy seating areas made it easy to unwind and soak up the beauty around us. My only minor gripe was that the shower could've been better, but honestly, it did not take away from our overall experience! 🌸

Extraordinary stay with really good food!

The gardens were fine, and we had them almost to ourselves in the evening. The music and food evening was magical!

Staying here was a delightful experience, especially with the beautiful gardens that felt almost exclusive after the daytime visitors left. The impressive evening music and food event we attended added a magical touch to our stay. the breakfast served in a hamper was a special treat, overflowing with tasty goodies that kept us satisfied throughout the day. The staff were genuinely interested in making our stay enjoyable, which made a significant impact.

We spent a magical night enjoying a beautiful evening in the gardens, and the breakfast hamper was deliciously unique! Would definitely choose this place again.

Really good Dining and Beautiful Gardens

Having access to the fine gardens after hours added an enchanting touch to our evening. The staff were genuinely helpful. A slightly more extensive menu could elevate the overall dining experience.

The Standard King Room, while charming, felt cramped for the price range-£300+ should come with a bit more breathing space. The overhead shower lacked power, only dribbling water despite its size, though the handheld option performed well. Dining options are quite limited if you haven't booked a Michelin tasting in advance, leaving residents without a smaller à la carte selection, which feels like a missed opportunity.

Staying here was a magical experience, especially with the beautiful gardens all to ourselves in the evening. We enjoyed the really good breakfast served in a hamper, so plentiful we had leftovers for lunch too. The house and grounds are magnificent. The room decor could use some modernization for an even better experience.
